Istanbul / Tel Aviv / Tehran –
The ongoing military conflict between Iran and Israel has escalated significantly this morning, with multiple new reports confirming rising casualties, drone strikes, and growing diplomatic tension in the region.
🇮🇷 Inside Iran:
-
Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, warned that U.S. involvement in the conflict would pose a “serious and dangerous escalation.”
-
During a diplomatic meeting in Istanbul, Turkish President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan met with Araghchi and declared:
"Israel is the greatest obstacle to peace in the Middle East."
-
Iran’s Ministry of Health confirmed that at least 430 people have been killed inside the country since the attacks began on June 13, 2025.
🇮🇱 Inside Israel:
-
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) claimed responsibility for the deaths of two senior Iranian commanders in precision strikes:
-
Saeed Izadi, coordinator for Hamas operations backed by Iran
-
Behnam Shahriyari, commander in the Quds Force
-
-
The IDF also reported that eight Iranian drones entered Israeli airspace between 10:16 AM and 11:27 AM local time this morning.
-
Since the outbreak of hostilities, 25 people have died in Israel — including one due to cardiac arrest — and 2,517 have been injured, according to IDF figures.
🇺🇸 The U.S. and Nuclear Tensions:
-
U.S. National Intelligence Director, Tulsi Gabbard, stated today that she now believes Iran could develop nuclear weapons “within weeks.”
-
This marks a shift in tone, following comments yesterday from former President Donald Trump, who told reporters:
"There is no clear evidence that Iran is currently producing nuclear weapons."
🧠Summary:
The Iran–Israel conflict is entering a dangerous new phase. With drone incursions, deadly airstrikes, and nuclear concerns rising, the crisis is threatening to destabilize the entire Middle East. Global powers and regional actors are now under pressure to respond diplomatically before events spiral out of control.
